Walid Regragui, born on September 23, 1975, in Corbeil-Essonnes, France, to a
Moroccan family deeply connected to their roots, has become a symbol of
Moroccan football excellence. From a young age, Regragui's passion for football
was evident. For him, the ball was more than a game—it was a life-long dream.
Growing up playing in neighborhood pitches, he learned discipline, hard work, and
leadership well before fame came his way. This foundation set him on a path to a
professional career in European football.

Regragui began his professional career with Toulouse FC, showcasing his qualities
as a determined and leadership-driven right-back. He later played for notable
