WilDCats at the Capitol, a unique program offered by Wildcat University, aims to
provide students with an immersive experience in the heart of the nation's capital.
Founded over a decade ago, WilDCats at the Capitol has grown to become one of
the most sought-after programs at Wildcat University. Each year, a select group of
students from various disciplines are chosen to participate in this prestigious
program, which offers a semester-long internship in Washington D.C. Students
have the opportunity to work alongside policymakers, government officials, and
industry leaders, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and insight into the
inner workings of the nation's capital.
One of the hallmarks of WilDCats at the Capitol is its emphasis on experiential

"The cultural immersion component of WilDCats at the Capitol was just as
enriching as the professional aspect," says Emily Rodriguez, a senior majoring in
international relations. "Living and working in Washington D.C. for a semester
allowed me to fully immerse myself in the city's rich history and diverse culture. It
was an experience that broadened my horizons and gave me a new perspective on
the world."
